Summer Concert Outfit Ideas

Spring/Summer season is the prime time for concerts and festivals, so I decided for my first post to put together some outfit ideas for this occasion. Of course it does depend on what type of concert you are going to and where it is held, however I tried to tailor these outfits to fit in as broad a category as possible. At concerts it is your time to have some fun and dress to reflect that, and to stand out some (or maybe fit in?) So let's get started.

Outfit #1

You can never go wrong with black at concerts, so in this one I took black high waisted shorts and paired it with a very soft and flowy grey shirt, still sticking to neutral colors, that has black mesh stripes that go through the top of it. Then I threw in black socks with white stripes and black converse. For this look, again you just want to stay more basic but perfect for a concert because you won't get too hot and it's easy to move in.

Outfit #2

For outfit number 2, I decided to make it a little more street stylish. Wear a long jersey-style t-shirt over denim looking shorts finished with a short spiked silver necklace and faux leather slip-on shoes. This one, unlike the other, has a lot more white and light colors, but still isn't really "colorful".

Outfit #3

I love outfit number 3 because really anyone can wear it. All it is high waisted jean shorts, white high top converse, and a plaid button down; either wear this on or if you get too hot tie it around your waist. Then for the shirt I chose a thin camo one, however you could really go with anything for this. Either wear a neutral solid or have some fun and mix it up with a completely different print than your flannel!

Outfit #4

If you feel like dressing up more, but still look like you're ready to party rather than go to a gala, try outfit #4. This one is a knit tank that is split open in the back so it's more breathable and nice to wear in the warm weather. I also paired that with a dark wash denim circle skirt that is fringed slightly at the bottom. And lastly I went a little retro with the clear/sparkly jellies and ruffled socks. Also for jewelry, to offset the fun skirt try an edgy necklace like this medium length spiked gold necklace. If you don't have a skirt like I chose, really any circle skirt would do or even throw on the sweater over a playful dress! This look is still easy while looking pretty.
